Perspectives of childhood and of children are wonderfully diverse across our world. Societies often emit a perspective about children whether intentional or not.
This January, I will be traveling to up to 8 countries: New Zealand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. Along the way, my goal is to share what I witness and learn about children’s spaces, roles, and experiences in those countries as a small glimpse into how we can all better serve young children, parents, and educators in how we build our world.
